Next year, we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of our victory in the anti-fascist war, and all peace-loving people and countries, as well as all the countries and people in the region that suffered at the hands of fascist forces and sacrificed so much in the war should stay vigilant against the designs and actions of Japan. They should cherish the peace, which could be restored only after the sacrifice of tens of thousands of lives, and uphold historical justice and work together to maintain the postwar international order.

We should adapt to the changing situations and explore a new framework for regional security cooperation. The establishment of a comprehensive, orderly, inclusive and coordinated regional security cooperation mechanism is a firm institutional guarantee for the resolution of regional security issues. An exclusive military alliance that is explicitly targeted against a third party is inconsistent with the regional trend of peace, cooperation, development and win-win arrangement.

Some countries in the Asia-Pacific, while focusing on the region's realities and needs, have made many efforts to build a security cooperation mechanism in the region. Mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the ASEAN regional forums are playing an increasingly important role in the region, and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia - the region's largest multilateral forum on security - has become a valuable platform for countries to actively discuss security cooperation in Asia.

We should promote overall security in the Asia-Pacific, work tirelessly to expand the scope of security cooperation, enrich its concept, deepen its level and establish a new security cooperation mechanism in the Asia-Pacific region.
