Shuidongqing, who declines to give her real name, writes on her photo blog that she enjoys the process of understanding life by traveling, sometimes feels happy for a blooming flower and sad for a falling leaf.
After graduation from Arts, she has been interested in photography, a way of expressing herself and capturing the fleeting beauty to make it everlasting, in her words. Her two visits to Tibet took her to Lhasa, Tashilhunpo Monastery, Lake Manasarovar, Nyingchi and areas around Qomolangma. Besides the excitement of vastness and splendid beauty, she was a bit concerned about the commercialization in Lhasa and Ngari prefecture.
You have to pay money to take photos of local people, she said.
However, the Tibetan cultures and devoted Buddhist believers always remind her of a life philosophy she was not familiar with before - to forget about the past and look forward to the future.
"The purpose of life is to actively discover the truth, kindness and beauty around us."
