Bryant has played most of the year with the finger fracture but is still averaging 27 points per game and five assists, helping the Lakers into the playoffs as the West's top seed.

He played against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday after missing the previous two games with a knee ailment.

"I think he'll find a way," Lakers coach Phil Jackson told reporters. "There should be two to three days between our (final) game and the start of the playoffs, so I think he'll find a rhythm."
