According to the qualification rules, player who gets two champions in seven matches (including five open tournaments and two trials) qualifies directly for the women's singles of 2011 World Championships. Player who gets one champion qualifies for the championships.

Since Ding Ning had taken champions in both British Open and United Arab Emirates Open, she has qualified for women's singles. Guo Yan also got a singles quota with one German Open champion and a trial champion. Both of them will not attend this round of trial.

Wu Yang and Liu Shiwen have been listed into quotas of Rotterdam championships with one champion respectively. So they can get another singles ticket if they win the trial.

Li Xiaoxia and Guo Yue, who didn't win a title, have to win the trial to ensure qualification.

The Rotterdam Table Tennis World Championships will kick off from May 8 to 15.

After the trial, the Chinese women's team will go to Chengdu for closed training.
