5. Jonathan Soriano: from Red Bull Salzburg to Beijing Guoan

This is seen as a last-minute deal. Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan announced the signing of Spanish striker Jonathan Soriano on Feb 27, just one day before the winter transfer deadline.

The 31-year-old Soriano, the Europa League's top scorer in the 2013-14 season, is reported to have a three-year contract with Beijing Guoan.
