Exotic experiences in border cities

There are quite a number of lovely towns and cities scattered along China’s 22,000-km border area, which are a crystallization of styles that are unique to the border-country regions. These towns and cities have now become popular tourism attractions, places where visitors can get a short exotic life experience and a sense of travel abroad.

Id Kah Square, Kashgar, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Kashgar, a historically noted city along the “Silk Road” in ancient Xinjiang, is a place where trade caravans meet, converging roads of both the south and the north of Tianshan Mountains.
