Shanghai will hold New Year's Eve celebrations at several locations this year. these include the traditional light projection show on the Bund, a balloon release at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, bell ringing at Jingan Temple and light illumination of the newly built, 632-meter Shanghai Tower.
