DUBLIN - The US Presidential Cadillac, nicknamed "The Beast" for its bomb-proof features, failed to make it out of the US Embassy in Dublin on Monday when it became stuck on a ramp.

The incident occurred in front of waving crowds as Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, were leaving the embassy en route to his ancestral home in County Offaly.
The White House later said the couple were not in the vehicle at the time it became wedged.
Specially built for Obama, the General Motors vehicle boasts its own oxygen supply in case of chemical attack and armour-plated doors.
