WASHINGTON - Two US planes collided Thursday on the taxiway at Boston airport, but did not cause any casualties, local media reported.

The wing of a Delta Boeing 767 clipped the tail of an aircraft providing regional air service, while both were on the taxiway and preparing to leave Boston on Thursday evening.

One female passenger complained of neck pain after the crash and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital as a precaution. The remaining passengers were examined by a medical team, and there were no other injuries, said a spokesman of the Boston Logan International Airport.

Delta Flight 266 bound for Amsterdam hit the vertical stabilizer of Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 4904, which was leaving for Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, according to media reports.

Investigations are underway to figure out the reason for the crash.Passengers on the two planes have been put on other flights.
