San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee said China is vital not only to California's economic recovery but also for the improvement of the state's employment status.
He made the comments at K&L Gates, an international law firm with 1,900 attorneys worldwide, during its annual Chinese New Year celebration on Feb 9.

Chinese Deputy Consul General of San Francisco Yi Xianrong echoed Mayor Lee on the importance of a win-win relationship between China and the US.
Vice Consul Liu Xiaolong and Economic & Commercial Counselor Xia Xiang also attended the event.

Howard Chen, partner of K&L Gates, took the opportunity to introduce Darlene Chiu Bryant, the new executive director of ChinaSF’s San Francisco office.
ChinaSF is a collaborative public/private economic development initiative, operated by the San Francisco Center for Economic Development and the City of San Francisco with the financial and strategic backing of key international business leaders.
