China’s BYD Motors Inc unveiled the world's first long range, electric-battery bus in New Orleans on Jan 27 at the United Motorcoach Association’s Expo 2015. The BYD C9 is a 40-foot long coach with seating capacity for 47 people that can travel more than 190 miles before being recharged. It is the first of three 100-percent electric-battery coaches the Lancaster, California, company will launch globally this year. Provided to China Daily |
