Lindy Li, who has declared her candidacy for a US Congress seat from Pennsylvania, addresses supporters at the Pender Center in\ Fairfax, Virginia, on Sunday. If elected, Li, who will be 25 in 2016, would be the youngest woman elected to Congress. She is seeking the Democratic nomination, as is La Salle University political science professor Mary Ellen Balchunis. The nominee would likely face Representative Pat Meehan, a Republican.
