NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday said that he was ready to face parliamentary probe on the multi-billion-dollar telecom scam.

Singh said he hadn't thought of quitting when the Parliament was brought to a standstill by opposition demanding a Joint Parliamentary Commission probe into the 2G spectrum allocations in 2008.
He added: "I wish to assure the country as a whole our government is dead serious to bring to book all the wrongdoers regardless of their position in 2G spectrum."
