LONDON - James Murdoch said sorry for the phone hacking scandal at the News of the World newspaper on Tuesday.

"I would like to say just how sorry I am and just how sorry we are," James Murdoch, chief executive of News Corp's Europe and Asia operation, told British lawmakers.

Both James and his media baron father Rupert Murdoch appeared before the British lawmakers looking into allegations of the phone hacking.
