HOUSTON - A man was killed and three others were injured when a security guard opened fire outside a club in the US state of Texas early Sunday, local media reported.
The shooting happened at about 6 am at the Bronco Nite Clubin northwest Harris County, Texas, the local TV channel ABC13 reported.
The security guard was escorting several people out of the club at closing time when a fight started, ABC13 quoted information from the Harris County Sheriff's Office as reporting.
Detectives said the guard shot all four victims when they all assaulted him at once.
One man died at the scene. Three others were taken to area hospitals, one with serious injuries and the other two with minor injuries, according to the report.
The area where the shooting happened is no stranger to problems, the report said.
Police have received 12 calls for service in the last two months at the strip center where Bronco is located, according to the report.
