US President Barack Obama signs an executive order increasing the minimum wage for employees of federal contractors, in the East Room at the White House in Washington Feb 12, 2014. Obama signed the executive order on Wednesday to raise the minimum wage for federal contract workers to $10.10 an hour starting next year and encouraged employers nationwide to increase wages for their workers.
