Pacific castaway Jose Salvador Alvarenga was rescued in Majuro, on Feb 3, 2014. Alvarenga, the fisherman from El Salvador who says he spent more than a year adrift in the Pacific Ocean. Alvarenga says he survived by drinking turtle blood and eating fish and birds he was able to catch with his bare hands. [Xinhua]
