KICKING IN

On behalf of China's Consulate General in Toronto, Chinese Deputy Consul General Xu Wei donates two bottles of famous Chinese wine wuliangye to the fundraising gala for Hainan Disaster Relief on July 27 in Richmond Hill, to help raise funds through an auction. Nearly C$31,245 has been raised at the charity gala through various donations. The funds will be used for the reconstruction of an elementary school damaged by Typhoon Rammasun. LI NA / CHINA DAILY
