Zhao is an ambassador for the alliance in its effort to promote clean cooking stoves in China. "Everybody knows air pollution in China is a big issue," said Zhao, who has more than 60 million followers on social media, "Government has been focusing on cars and industrial production, but the clean stove has been neglected." The UN Foundation says there are 3 billion people using polluting cook stoves in the world, and that the indoor air pollution is the fourth biggest health risk in the developing world.
