Guangzhou fair to showcase latest virtual reality gadgets

The Asia VR and AR Fair and Summit will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from Wednesday to Saturday. It will showcase the latest virtual reality and augmented reality products. After Guangzhou, the event will move to Wuhan, Hubei province, in May.

Quiz will lead to Manchester's experts in Chinese business

The third-annual Manchester Chinese Business Week will continue on Wednesday with the Manchester Business Challenge Contest, a quiz involving students and businesspeople that gauges knowledge of China-related business in front of an audience. The event will be in Room 4.63 of the Simon Building on Brunswick Street. The best three performers will win Manchester Chinese Business Awards.

Companies offered tips on how to survive in China

City Business Library will host How to Help Your Business Succeed in China on Thursday. Speakers Fang Xuejiao and John Pickup will talk about the intricacies of Chinese business language and commercial culture and aim to dispel misconceptions and bridge cultural and language differences. The library is in the Guildhall on Aldermanbury, London, and a not-for-profit facility supporting small businesses.

Olympic city Chongli to host major winter celebration

The Corona SunSets winter festival will be held from Friday to Sunday in Chongli, Hebei province, a host city of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. It will feature shows by Dutch singer Lodewijk Fluttert, known by his stage name Bakermat, and Australian singer Conrad Sewell. Simon Beck, a British snow artist will walk on the snow ground to"paint" a giant mandala.
