Stewardesses-to-be practice the basics of the Ving Tsun, a form of self-defense, in Chengdu city, Southwest Sichuan province on Monday. Ving Tsun, or Wing Chun, a concept-based Chinese martial art, has been set as a compulsory course in Sichuan Southwest Vocational College of Civil Aviation. The college has signed a contract with the Tu Tengyao Martial Art Association to develop the course called "Eighteen combat movements of anti-terror in civil aviation."
