From animal bones to silk, from bamboo sheets to paper, the medium through which humans store and transmit information has changed throughout the ages.
Since paper was invented, humans have been acquiring knowledge and communicating with great minds of different times through paper books.
But, the situation has changed with the boom in information technology which has seen a growing number of people turn to digital devices for reading.
