Typhoon Dujuan makes landfall, disrupts traffic

People struggle against winds from approaching Typhoon Dujuan in the business district of Taipei, Taiwan, Sept 28, 2015. Typhoon Dujuan picked up strength Sunday as it headed toward Taiwan, prompting warnings of strong winds and torrential rain. Dujuan, called a strong typhoon by the Central Weather Bureau, landed on Taiwan's east coast Monday afternoon, bringing strong wind and heavy rain and disrupting land and air traffic. As of 5 pm Monday, 72 flights had been delayed and 221 flights canceled, according to Taiwan's aviation management agency. More flight cancellations are expected. [Photo/IC]
