Ink painter Jia holds show in Xiamen

In his career spanning more than five decades, Jia has carried forward Chinese painting traditions inherited from predecessors such as Huang Binhong and Li Keran.
He brings a modern touch to the landscapes in his works.
Titled Poetry of Silence, the exhibition runs from Nov 8-15.
