Precious relics of debauched king on display in Jiangxi

The tomb belongs to Liu He (92 BC-59 BC), who was dethroned after 27 days－the shortest reign among Western Han monarchs－because of his debauchery and licentious lifestyle. The jade seal of Liu He will meet the public for the first time during the exhibition.

Li said the design of the exhibition fuses typical elements from Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) architectures, which brings visitors back to the grand Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). The hue of the whole exhibition is mainly in red and golden, derived from the color of the unearthed relics from the tomb, which are mostly lacquer, gold wares and bronze wares.

To avoid long lines, visitors can make online reservation. The number of visitors is limited to 4,000 per day, 2,000 before noon, and 2,000 after.
