Kate Hudson's personal jewellery

Kate Hudson's new CH+KH capsule collection of jewellery evokes her personality.

The 'A Little Bit Of Heaven' actress has collaborated with her friend Laurie Lynn Stark to create the bohemian-inspired range of charms and accessories and the owner of the Chrome Hearts brand wanted the pieces to reflect how she sees her friend's character.

Laurie told Elle magazine: "We use a lot of aquamarines because Kate loves them. But to me they also evoke her personality. She's so open and light."

Kate says her initial inspiration came from her seeing her mother, Goldie Hawn, wearing a particular choker.

She said: "It was one of the first pieces I ever remember my mother wearing, and it was like, 'Wow, I hope one day I get to wear jewellery like that'."

Goldie gave her daughter the piece as a present for her 21st birthday and it has - along with her collection of 1970s vintage jewellery - informed her choice of bracelets and earrings set with white diamonds, fresh water pearls, green tourmaline, peridot, citrine and aquamarine gemstones for the CH+KH collection, mainly set in 18 and 22 karat gold.
