Madonna's world tour lands in Hong Kong

Despite being late for the concert, the star was still embraced by many of her fans.

Kong Yangjun, a Sina Weibo user, wrote, "Madonna's concert is my best birthday gift ever, two hours' late makes it just right for me.”

As reported, ticket of Madonna's Hong Kong concert at the Asia World-Expo is as expensive as 10,000 yuan ($1543), much more than that of Chinese pop stars like Jay Chou's, the highest of which is 840 yuan.

A handful of Asian celebrities from the entertainment industry were in attendance including Hong Kong director Kaiwai Wong and Hong Kong actress Michele Monique Reis.

The concert will resume tonight at the Asian World-Expo at 8 pm.
