Comment on "Officials look to raise content of TV programs" (China Daily, May 3)

One way of raising the quality of TV programs is to promote programs related to history. TV program producers may record and review the history of China to tell viewers what really happened.

The Western media has for long clung to its cliched and boring ideas about China and the world needs to see the true picture of China.

The programs I suggest should be vivid and present a more balanced view on what really happened in China in the past.
