Missile destroyer Z<EM>hengzhou </EM>joins navy fleet

The destroyer Zhengzhou is commissioned for the East China Sea fleet of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy on Dec 26, 2013. The warship belongs to the new generation of Chinese-made guided missile destroyers. Equipped with Chinese-made "new weapons," it has strong capacity for long-distance warning and surveillance and regional air defense. The ship, with hull number 151, is 155 meters long and 17 meters wide. It has a displacement of more than 6,000 tons. [Photo/Xinhua]
