Toling Monastery in Ngari prefecture, West Tibet

The Toling Monastery, built in the Song Dynasty(920-1270 A.D.), is one of the most renowned monasteries in Zhada county, Ngari prefecture, SW China’s Tibet autonomous region. As the first monastery in Ngari built by the Guge Kingdom, the Toling Monastery was listed the "A-level Cultural Relics Protection Unit" in 1966.
