"Lingfeng Mountain plum blossom hunting" has been a long-time annual tradition for Hangzhou locals and tourists to explore the beauty of early spring. The "hunting" usually starts at Chinese Lunar New Year and lasts through March. The scenic spot features over 10,000 plum trees in more than 80 varieties, including the white, the red, the pink, the green and the cinnabar, which transform the area into what looks like a rich oil painting.
