Breathtaking scenery of Wanfo Lake

A corner of Wanfo Lake holiday resort, featuring Hui style architectures.The scenic spot, which features Wanfo Lake, is in Shucheng country, eastern China’s Anhui province. It is a national geological park that has been named by the central government as one of China’s first "National Water Resorts". Wanfo Lake (also known as Longhekou Reservoir) is an artificial lake built in 1958. It covers 50 square kilometers, with a water retention capacity of 900 million cubic meters. It is an important component of the Pishihang Irrigation District. There are many historical sites around the lake, including Longhekou, Meifudong cave, Diaoyutai island and the Tomb of Zhouyu, who was an official of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC).
