Ci Shan temple funded by Li Ka-shing opens

Ci Shan temple resembles temples in ancient China's Tang Dynasty in terms of the architectectural style, in which the Mahavira hall alone covers an area of 10,000 square feet.Other facilities include the bell tower, Guan Yin hall, a depository of Buddhist texts, a meditation room, residence for monks, etc. A Guanyin statue measuring 76 meters in height has also been built. It is the world's tallest green bronze Guanyin statue.
