HIV-infected people in China who are considered at risk of transmitting the virus to others, will receive antiretroviral therapy upon testing positive, said Wu Zunyou, director of the National Center for AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Disease Control and Prevention, during the meeting. The International AIDS Conference is a biannual gathering of AIDS scientists, international policymakers, and people living with AIDS from around the world.
