Chinese designer sparks New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK - September 8-15 marked the 2011 New York Fashion Week, which has gathered designers from all over the world to exhibit their 2012 spring and summer collections.

The Mercedes-Benz Fall Fashion week took place at Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York City. Almost 100 fashion shows were presented, including top-name designers Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs. Yet, this year a Chinese fashion designer Qingqing Wu has added more diversity to the New York fashion stage.
