The sound of music is pouring out the Shenzhen Concert Hall as competitive pianists play to judges at the 2nd China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition.

Twelve judges, including Zhou Guangren from China and Italy's Andrea Bonata, hand-picked the 45 musicians from 15 countries and regions around the world.

Shenzhen is fresh off the end of the Summer Universiade athletic games, and this competition has put the Chinese city on the musical map.
