Chinese celebrate Dragon Boat Festival
A woman puts cinnabar on a child's forehead in a ceremony commemorating the annual Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, in Beijing, June 6, 2011. The festival is commemorated in memory of Chinese patriotic poet Qu Yuan, who drowned himself on the day in 277 BC. Children often wear cinnabar on the day to keep away evil and disease.
