Starbucks triggers debate

The US coffee giant Starbucks has stirred controversy after opening a new store outside the Lingyin Temple, a famous Buddhist monastery in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province. The shop opened on Sept 22 and sparked a wave of comments online with many questioning the decision to open a modern Western brand next to an ancient site used for meditation. [Photo/CFP]
