'Ultraman' battles the forces of dough in China

A robotic version of the cult superhero "Ultraman" has quit saving planet Earth from aliens and giant monsters to make noodles in Shijiazhuang city, capital of North China's Hebei province. The star of hugely popular Japanese TV series was captured on camera shaving dough before putting it into a boiling wok on August 10, 2011. The couple who operate the noodle restaurant bought the robot to help them make the doughy snacks. Fans of "Ultraman" may wonder why he needs a wok as it is common knowledge he can produce high-pressure steam from his finger tips by touching his hands together, but that hasn't stopped him being labeled a "star employee" by his new boss.
