NetEase holds auto media summit

The first Global Automotive Media Summit was held in Chengdu, Sichuan province on October 13, 2011, gathering more than one hundred automotive media leaders from home and abroad.

The summit was co-organized by NetEase Auto and the Automotive Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Wang Xia, chairman of the Automobile Industry Committee with CCPIT, spoke highly of the summit. "Going global has been a challenge to all Chinese automotive enterprises. The summit provides a platform to show Chinese auto brands to the world", Wang said.

Cheng Li, head of NetEase Auto Center said "We hope to build a communication platform among Chinese automotive enterprises, the Chinese auto media and the international auto media to make foreign media and foreign people know more about the Chinese auto market and help Chinese automotive enterprises go global."

Industry giants, such as Zhu Fushou, president of Dongfeng Motor Corp; Xu Heyi, president of the Beijing Automotive Industry (Holding) Group; Chen Zhixin, executive vice-president of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (Group) and Chen Yudong, president of Bosch (China) Investment Ltd, were present at the summit.
