John Naisbitt is an author and public speaker, born in 1929 in the United States.
He worked for IBM and Kodak, and was assistant secretary of education to former president John F. Kennedy and special assistant to president Lyndon Johnson in Washington until 1966.
He holds 17 honorary doctorate degrees in the humanities, technology and science. And he has spoken to almost all the major corporations.
His wife, Doris, studied fashion and theater in Vienna at the acclaimed Academy of Performing Arts. She has had a successful career in leading an Austrian publisher.
The two co-founded the Naisbitt China Institute at Tianjin University in 2006, a nonprofit, independent research institution studying the social, cultural and economic transformation of China.
