Megatrends: Ten New Directions Transforming Our Lives, published in 1982, sold more than 9 million copies in 58 countries and was on the New York Times Bestsellers list for two years.
Megatrends 2000: Ten New Directions for the 1990s, published in 1990, is a precise preview of the new millennium in the early 1990s. It's also high on the New York Times Bestsellers list.
Megatrends Asia: Eight Asian Megatrends That Are Reshaping Our World, published in 1996, predicts the rise of Asian countries, especially China.
Megatrends for Women, (co-authored) published in 1992, is about powerful women transforming an imperfect world.
China's Megatrends: The 8 Pillars of a New Society, (co-authored with his wife, Doris), published in 2009, unveils the huge changes over the past 30 years in China by analyzing the eight pillars of contemporary Chinese society.
Other books:
Mind Set! Reset Your Thinking and See the Futurepublished in 2006, is a book about Naisbitt's future forecasts and how he developed 11 "mindsets" as tools to evaluate and select information and put it all together.
The China Model (co-authored with Doris), published in 2010, is a recording of a dialogue between Zhao Qizheng, the former minister of the State Council Information Office, and the Naisbitt couple, on a wide range of topics.
