About 200 copies of Steve Jobs：A Biography were snapped up in about 15 minutes on the first selling day in Shanghai, the Eastday.com reported on Monday.

Shanghai Book City started selling the book at 10:05 am, even though many arrived around 6 am for a reservation number. The first 200 people in line also got a commemorative T-shirt.

At the front of the long queue was a woman surnamed Cheng. She said that she admired Jobs, whose innovations changed the world. She was planning on buying five books and sending them to family members to encourage them to work hard.

Most people bought two or three books, and some even bought up to 10. The book has 41 chapters and the Chinese version is 560 pages. Three versions are for sale: paperback edition, hardcover edition and commemorative edition.
