DPRK proposes inter-Korean high-level military talks

SEOUL - The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday proposed holding high-level military talks with Republic of Korea (ROK), Seoul's Ministry of National Defense said.
The proposed high-level meeting is aimed to discuss "pending military issues" between the two sides, Kim said in the message sent to Seoul's Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin, according to the ministry.
Seoul is positively considering to hold working-level contacts with the North to prepare for the proposed high-level military talks, a ministry official said.
