Sipping a glass of champagne with a bite of brie cheese, that's what French call it life. For hundreds of years, French food has always been one of the most sparkling pearls in global cuisine history. Boasting a country of flavors, French show generosity and love to share their dining traditions with the rest of the world.
Launched by French Foreign Ministry in 2015, "Tasty France" is held across the five continents to promote French food and their way of life in March every year. This year, over 2,000 chefs and 71 cooking schools from every corner of the world interpret their understanding of French cuisine by creating classic banquets at over 140 French embassies, including China.
The French embassy in Beijing invited two Michelin-star chef Jean-Pierre Jacob and world's top-level bakers to host an exquisite banquet on Tuesday evening.
