The grandest piano of them all?
Sheng Yuan held a concert at Forbidden City Concert Hall recently, showing off the sound of the new Yamaha CFX Concert Grand piano.
The handcrafted piano, which was launched at Sheng's concert, represents 19 years of research from Yamaha designers and engineers. Sheng said the piano was an important "actor" in his concert. The piano is the fourth in the world, and the only one in China.
More than 20 top Chinese pianists were invited to comment on the new piano and their opinions will be considered as Yamaha further improves its products.
