China stocks end higher Sept 16 amid optimism

BEIJING - China's stocks close slightly higher on Sept 16 amid optimism for Asia's leading economies in the face of growing regional and global uncertainty.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.13 percent, or 3.29 points, to end at 2,482.34. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.28 percent, or 30.21 points, to finish at 10,878.23.
