"David" and "Amy" were the most common English names for men and women respectively in Taiwan, according to a recent poll.

A website in the island launched a survey in March about the top 10 most common English names, and the result showed that David, Peter, and Michael were the most common men's names, and Amy, Vivian, and Lisa were the most commonly used by women.

Most people who have the names given on the list said they don't care if they have overused names. They instead thought a widely known name is easily remembered.
