A huge sentry on the road to Ming Tombs

A gigantic figure from a group of marble soldiers that guards the avenue leading to the tomb of the first Ming emperor in Nanjing. Were a man to stand beside the figure, he would not even reach to his waist, for the soldier is more than twelve feet tall.
