Top home decor brands are converging in Shanghai to showcase the essence of high-end interior design. Two exhibitions - 100% Design Shanghai and International Home Decor & Design (IHDD) - will be held from Nov 4 to 6 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

100% Design Shanghai features contemporary interior design products from leading local and international brands. It includes original designs in furniture, lighting, bathroom, kitchenware, as well as floor and wall coverings.

Focused on elegance and stylish living, IHDD is a trade exhibit that brings together a comprehensive range of the latest luxury interior design items, homeware and accessories by the top international brands.

Both 100% Design Shanghai and IHDD have become popular among designers of home furnishings, furniture manufacturers and leading home decor product consumers from China and across Asia.

The event hosts more than 120 well-known local and international exhibitors. The majority of top brands are exhibiting for the first time.

It will culminate in Designed in China: The Rado Young Design Prize that will award two top prizes from the 422 works initially considered.

Organized by leading exhibition company Reed Exhibitions, the shows provide a robust forum for exhibitors, design professionals and buyers to network and learn about the market's current demands for furniture design.

Reed Exhibitions is the world's leading events organizer, with over 440 events in 36 countries. In 2009, Reed brought together more than six million event participants from around the world that generated billions of dollars in business. Reed events are now held throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Michael Young, a renowned British designer based in Hong Kong, has been appointed as the creative director of this event by Reed Exhibitions.

This event is also receiving special support from the Czech Republic's Ministry of Commerce and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry.

Crystal products from the Czech Republic are among the most prestigious in the world. At this exhibition, Czech exhibitors are not only showing high quality domestic brands, but also highlighted the latest design concepts of crystal products.

Japan is famous for its exquisite designs. Japanese representatives at the show are displaying domestic brands with a long history, new adaptations of classic brands and redesigns of traditional products.

The event also offers 18 sessions and forums during its three-day run.

As 100% Design Shanghai and IHDD are among the leading interior design exhibitions worldwide, the discussions and debuts of upcoming applications are sure to be hugely popular, according to Reed Exhibitions.
